About Us

Save a Kitty Feral Cat Program Inc. 501(c)3 is a tax exempt non profit organization formed July 2004 to educate citizens on the success of TNR ( Trap, Neuter, and Return ) as practiced by Alley Cat Allies. Since 2004, Save a Kitty has provided for the neutering of over 3500 cats in the Parkersburg WV area and in so doing reduced the number of local humane shelter cat entries and euthanizations by near 25%. TNR is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living out in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. . .

Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man.
Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures.
