1100+ Cats Spayed & Neutered

We are a non-profit organization formed to educate residents who are feeding the feral (un-socialized) and free-roaming cat population in the city of Parkersburg, WV and surrounding areas. We practice the (TNR) method: Trap, Neuter, and Return. While feeding these animals is important, spaying and neutering is equally important. We can teach you how to eventually stop the cycle and raise money to pay for their medical care. We need volunteers to help with our efforts. We need to raise money to provide awareness to the community. We also need help humanely trapping and transporting cats to the veterinarian for surgery, feeding, the cats and monitoring the cat colonies.  If you love cats / kittens and would like to become involved in our efforts, please contact us.

Announcements

Senate Bill 189 "Feral Cat Colony Management" has been introduced in the session again by Senator Donna Boley.  We need your support.  West Virginia spends millions of taxpayer dollars every year euthanizing animals.  With this bill, feral and free-roaming cats will be sterilized, vaccinated and cared for and NOT contribute to the already devastating over-population of cats.  Trap, Neuter, Return works.  Please support Senate Bill 189.  It is the proven, effective and humane way to treat our animals.

Please contact your Senators and House members and ask them to support SB 189.  You can find their phone numbers and email addresses at the following website. www.wvsenate.gov and www.legis.state.wv.us Thanks for your support
